Win Up To $10,000 From Google For Making Assistant Actions

Google is not (always) interested in small products. They are chasing moonshots. They want to build platforms. They want Google Assistant also to be such a platform. They want it everywhere. They want it to be able to do all kind of actions for users.

What do you need for that?

More developer participation. More third party apps and integrations. More stuff that you can ask Google Assistant to tell you or get done for you. Google needs more attention from developers for this to work. Google is inviting developers to “Join the Actions on Google Developer Challenge”.

Turn your inspiration into action by building apps for the Google Assistant on Google Home, select Android devices, and the iPhone. Enter to win more than 20 prizes including a trip to Google I/O 2018. Your app must be approved by August 31st to be eligible, so start building!

As the first place winner, your prize includes a trip to Google’s Headquarters in Mountain View, CA and tickets to Google I/O 2018. You’ll get to explore our campus, enjoy our delicious food and meet the Google Assistant team. You‘ll also win $10,000 along with serious bragging rights. Second place gets $7,500 and a Google Home. Third place gets $5,000 and a Google Home.

There are other award categories as well. Take a look:
