You can make the Google Assistant make a WhatsApp voice call or video call. Use the voice command “make a WhatsApp call“ to do this. Want more details? Read on.
WhatsApp Voice Call
To make a WhatsApp voice call using the Assistant, use the voice command:
Hey Google, make a WhatsApp call to [contact-name]
Replace contact-name with a one of your contacts. Google Assistant will now open the WhatsApp and place the call for you.
You can also use “Hey Google, video call [contact-name] on WhatsApp“
WhatsApp Video Call
Next, let us take a look at the voice command for the video call. To place a video call using WhatsApp, say:
Hey Google, make a WhatsApp video call to [contact-name]
Again, replace contact-name with someone from your contact list. Google Assistant will open the WhatsApp app and place a video call to that contact.

Have you added nicknames?
Have you added nicknames to your contacts? For example, “Mother” or “Husband”? If yes, you could try saying “Hey Google, call my mother on WhatsApp”. or “Okay Google, make a WhatsApp video call to my husband.
